Sustainable Living on 1st Floor, Free Parking!

In our single-family home, we rent out our modern studio. The studio is located on the first floor, has its own private entrance, and is completely separate from our living area, except for the shared staircase. We place great value on sustainability – our home is heated with geothermal energy and we generate our electricity with a solar PVsystem. Experience the special feeling of starting your day with a clear conscience. Right next to the main entrance, there is a free parking space available.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Walkers Cottage, Home away from Home

This Newly renovated cottage is situated in the beautiful Mountains over looking the Walensee, with spectacular views of the Churfirsten. Transport is recommended , but its just a 10min walk down Oberterzen, where you find the cable car to go up to Flumserberg ski resort. (Ski in or out, only when there is enough snow) Or a 5 min drive down to Unterterzen where there is great swimming in Summer, other Restaurants, Supermarket, Bank, Post office, Train station, etc. We have a no pet policy

Idealer Ausgangspunkt in der Altstadt für Alleinreisende, Freunde und Familie. Historisch, einzigartig, idyllisch und doch irgendwie wild gelegen an der Mülenenschlucht direkt beim UNESCO Weltkulturerbe Stiftsbezirk St.Gallen. Wo heute kaum ein Neubau mehr denkbar wäre, wurde dieses Gebäude vor fast 200 Jahren ursprünglich als Appretur (Textilveredelung) erbaut. Dort ist eine Grillschale vorhanden. In ca. 10 Min. sind Bus oder Appenzellerbahn zu Fuss erreichbar. Im Umkreis von 10 km sind diverse Freizeitanlagen erreichbar (Minigolf, Bäder, Wandern, Skifahren, Biken).

Unser Haus steht am Rande des Dorfzentrums. Eine grosse alte Birke ist das Wahrzeichen in unserem Garten. Das stattliche Holzhaus wurde vor 140 Jahren im Biedermeierstil erbaut und ist in all den Jahren nur wenig verändert worden. Es widerspiegelt noch heute eine vorausblickende und weltoffene Generation. Ganz in diesem Sinne heissen wir Gäste aus nah und fern willkommen.

Mini-Villa im Grünen und doch zentral. Ideal für einen Kurzurlaub, um im Appenzellerland zu entspannen und St.Gallen zu erkunden. Auch als Hotelalternative für Geschäftsreisen sehr gut geeignet. Kostenlose Parkplätze auf dem Grundstück und schnelles Internet stehen zur Verfügung. Kurze Distanz nach St. Gallen und zur Autobahn A1. Nicht verfügbar für Partys.
