Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und die Gastgeber sehr zuvorkommend& nett. Pubudu war sehr gut erreichbar & hat uns spontan einen Tuk Tuk Driver organisiert zur Abholung vom Bahnhof , mit dem wir dann auch die Umgebung erkundet haben! Dies würden wir auch empfehlen - Mr. Gamage war unfassbar nett, hat uns super viel gezeigt und erklärt& uns am nächsten Tag auch wieder zum Bahnhof gebracht. Würden wir jedem empfehlen, der wie wir , nur eine Nacht dort verbringt , das Angebot zu nutzen. Der Ausflug mit Mr. Gamage war für uns ein absolutes Highlight!

Dana is a great host! It was a lovely cabin. Would recommend to all my friends. So helpful and responsive. The Hot tub was the highlight! Loved the cabin. Also Prabha was so sweet to make us tasty meals whenever we wanted :)

Diese Unterkunft war unser absolutes Highlight in jeglicher Hinsicht. Nicht nur, dass sie unsere hohen Erwartungen bei weitem Übertroffen hat, auch der Gastgeber Duminda, genannt Dudu ist ein ganz besonderer Mensch. Die Chemie hat von Anfang an gestimmt. Dudu ist ein äußert empathischer zuvorkommender Mensch, war allzeit zur Stelle und konnte uns viele wertvolle Tipps geben. Die vielen Tipps und Informationen zu Land und Leuten sowie zur Historie Sri Lankas waren äußert profund und wertvoll. Er fuhr uns täglich mit seinem Tuk Tuk wohin wir wollten und holte uns auch wieder ab. Auch bei einer Erkrankung zeigte er sich absolut fürsorglich empfohl uns die besten Ärzte und Apotheken und fuhr uns sogar zu einer ayurvedischen Professorin um Medikamte gegen Dengue-Fieber zu besorgen. Das Ambiente der Cabanas ist sehr geschmackvoll umgeben von einem wundervollen Garten der wie ein Biotop wirkt. Wir konnten allerlei Tiere und Pflanzen beobachten, die wir zu vor noch nie gesehen haben.

Staying in this amazing treehouse was a truly unique and unforgettable experience. Completely open to the surrounding nature, we could hear the sounds of the wildlife throughout the night — from birds to insects to mammals — and it was fascinating to notice how the sounds changed as the night went on. It really felt like being cut off from the outside world, in the best possible way. The host was very welcoming and gave us great recommendations for local activities and places to eat. A magical stay in the heart of nature!

Staying at Monsoon Eco Lodge was a great experience for the tranquility, beautiful garden, very nice accommodation and the great food we had for breakfast and sometimes for diner. Wishy will do her outmost to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We’ll also greatly miss the beautiful view in the rice fields ! Thanks for everything !

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser idyllischen Unterkunft mit Meerblick. Es war der perfekte Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Von hier aus sind die traumhaften Strände von Trincomalee mit einem eigenen Tuk Tuk oder Roller in nur 15-25 Minuten erreichbar. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der kulinarische Genuss: Gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis kann man Frühstück, Mittag- oder Abendessen bestellen, das entweder von Saman selbst oder seinem Koch zubereitet wird. Es war mit Abstand das beste Essen, das wir während unserer Reise in Sri Lanka genießen durften – unglaublich lecker und in riesigen Portionen! Die Unterkunft selbst ist noch sehr neu und in einwandfreiem Zustand. Saman war jederzeit erreichbar, äußerst freundlich und begrüßte uns mit einem erfrischenden Willkommensdrink. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Very nice family and great room

We booked with Malika because we wanted an authentic home stay experience in a quiet, rural setting and we found exactly this and more! From the moment we were handed a delicious, ice-cold, homemade lemonade on arrival, Malika made us feel like part of her family. Our 3 days with her were some of the best of our trip. The cabana is beautiful and rustic but still very comfortable with good facilities. There's no AC but we slept really well under the mosquito net and fan. The location is great - 3 mins walk to the beach (it's not safe to swim there) and in a quiet corner of Panama village. We spent our days walking on the beach and exploring the friendly village. Our evenings were spent chatting with Malika in her kitchen as she prepared the most delicious rice and curry dinners. Malika also arranged a safari for us to Kumana national park. We invited her and her family to join us and it was a very special day out Thank you for everything Malika! We had the best time & we'll miss u

Maheera und seine Familie waren großartige Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben und es war alles perfekt. Wir haben uns am ersten Tag direkt wohlgefühlt. Man kann sehr leckeres Frühstück dazu bestellen. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Wow, this place is incredible. The hospitality of the hosts is second to none, with delicious breakfasts of traditional food and fresh fruit delivered every morning. The bungalow is quite spacious, very tropical and located only 5 minute walk from the stunning Goyambokka Beach. There is also a scooter that can be rented for a mere 2,500 Ruppees a day, meaning that it is easy to explore the area on your terms. You cannot find anything close to this quality for such a low price. We cannot recommend highly enough

Schöner und moderner Bungalow in einer coolen Restaurantanlage. Bungalow war sehr sauber mit einwandfreien Badezimmer. Man hat eine kleine Terrasse mit kleinem grünen Garten als Abgrenzung zum anliegenden Restaurant. Das Restaurant ist auch super, nette Leute, gutes Essen, außerdem ein co-working Space, eine Eisdiele und viel Platz zum entspannen. Was man wissen sollte ist, das im Restaurant natürlich Musik läuft. Ich persönlich fand die Musik sehr gut und nicht störend. Die Lage kann nicht besser sein, alles in direkter Umgebung fußläufig erreichbar… Strand, Supermarkt, ATM, etliche Cafés und Restaurants. Ich hatte sehr gute und entspannte 4 Nächte dort.

Wir haben den sehr schönen Pool genossen. Zudem war alles angefangen bei den Zimmer bis hin zum Pool sehr sauber. Die Angestellten waren sehr zuvorkommend und haben uns auch beim Gepäck geholfen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig, damit verdiente 5 Sterne 👍

This was by far the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. The location is right in the middle of the tea plantations with the train tracks just behind. It was private and so well thought out , with trees and plants hiding the accommodation but still allowing perfect views. The hut itself was spotless and with so much space it felt luxurious and a real treat. The little pool was just ours and plenty of space sound it to eat or sunbathe, with the option of using the communal pool too which was beautiful and quiet. We ordered the curry for dinner which was brought to our room and was freshly made in their kitchen , it was the best food we had on our trip. We didn’t want to leave and would have stayed another night if we could have. Thank you and we highly recommend

Great location on top of a hill. In the middle between 2 main beaches. Great location a bit more quiet than in the main road. Host was very friendly
