Our family had a fantastic vacation at Paula and Chris’s cottage on Lake Eugenia. This beautifully rustic and well-loved cottage is perfectly equipped for guests of all ages and interests. Although the weather started off cold and rainy, and not good for swimming at first, we took the opportunity to explore the nearby Bruce Trails, just a short 5-10 minute drive away, where we enjoyed spectacular views. Back at the cottage, the fire pit made our evenings cozy and memorable, and the hot tub was an amazing bonus while we waited for the weather to improve. Once the sun came out, the kids couldn’t wait to jump into the lake, and they had an absolute blast! The Lily pad was amazing- hours and hours of uninterrupted fun. Lake Eugenia is a stunning spot perfect for swimming and just the right size for exploring by canoe or kayak. A big thank you to Chris and Paula for being such wonderful hosts!

We had a great stay. Loved the large fenced in yard, fire pit and hot tub. The place was very clean and had lots of kids toys and games

We enjoyed our visit to Sauble Beach and Yvonne’s cottage was great. Super clean with everything you need for a weekend away. Their place is next store which would make it helpful if guests needed anything at all. We ran out of potable water and it was provided immediately. The hot tub is located in the backyard with a deck surrounded by a big yard and three beautiful cabins. While we didn’t use them, bicycles, kayaks and paddle boards (plus more) are available for use at no charge. We loved that a beautiful beach is a block away. Perfect location for anyone looking to explore the area. Our visit was right at the end of summer season so all restaurants were open. We loved this area and proximity to Tobermory.

We had a fabulous time. The beds were comfortable and clean. The binder with extra information was clear and easy to follow. We will book again if we are staying in the area again. Thank you, Tom for sharing your place with us.

We enjoyed our stay! The hot tub and sauna were awesome , the sunsets were amazing. The beach was closeby, walking trails closeby, town closeby. A bonus was watching the fish traveling upstream in the river to spawn. Jamal was always available if needed.

This is a great place! Very clean, warm and inviting. It had everything you could need. Cheyene was very friendly and quick to respond. The backyard was nice and spacious and the fire pit and hot tub were perfect in making our getaway enjoyable and relaxing!

The peaceful location was perfect for relaxing, yet close to nearby attractions. Our host was thoughtful and communicative, making sure we had a great experience. We can’t wait to return!

I had a great stay at this cottage! It's a cozy and inviting place. The cottage was super clean and it's equipped with a lot of amenities, as described in the announcement. Unfortunately due to bad weather, we were not able to enjoy the beautiful outside area and surroundings.

This cottage complete with wood-burning fireplace, stocked trout pond and abundance of nature was the definition of relaxation. Beautiful trails that were well marked and led back to a second cabin with a porch on the creek. Could spend all day sitting around the pond with a campfire, listening to nature and watching the geese. The cottage had everything you needed to have a relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend this secluded oasis and will definitely rebook. Hosts were very friendly and responsive.

Stepping stones cottage is cute and cozy and the location was fantastic. The views are incredible, it feels private and it's close enough to both town and outdoor recreation. Marie was a great host. My only note is a heads up for future tall guests ...the shower stall is small and the toilet is low.

Mike was a great host. He was very responsive and helped us get settled in by answering a few questions we had. The cottage was even nicer than we thought, and was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The place has everything you need, and I would definitely recommend choosing this cottage.

A great rustic get away. Just be mindful of the garbage you bring as you will need to deal with it at the end of your stay. The view is very pretty in the mornings 🌅 My husband and I got a lot of use out of the firepit and enjoyed being surrounded by the forest! Location is convenient to visit tobermory, Lions Head and Devil Monument!

My stay here was wonderful! The cottage was even more beautiful than the pictures. It was very cozy and clean! My group really enjoyed the amount of activities there were to do from kayaking, to trampolining, to relaxing in the hot tub! Thank you so much Amanda for the lovely getaway ☀️⛱️

We had an amazing stay! It was our second time staying and everything was perfect. It’s a cozy cottage with an at-home feel. Set the pilot light in the gas fireplace for us and let me know in advance, and offered to come pick up chairs after a windstorm the night before our stay. Very lovely host with a very speedy response time and a wonderful property!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. It’s super quiet and peaceful—just what we needed to unwind. The view is beautiful and really adds to that calming, refreshing vibe. The place was super clean and cozy, and you can tell a lot of care went into making it feel welcoming. We highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a peaceful gateway!

My sister and I had a wonderful week! The cabin is clean, well-appointed and surprisingly close to the beach. Labour Day Weekend was busy but everyone was friendly and respectful, and everyone abided by the the 11pm quiet rule. This cabin is ideally located. It is a 20 minute walk / 5 minute drive to the Sauble Beach strip and the town of Sauble Beach is a great take-off point for a wide variety of day trips, shops and restaurants in Southhampton, Port Elgin, Owen Sound, Tobermory. The sunsets and the gorgeous blue-green water will knock you out. If you have any beach-bum in you, this is the place for you.

We just returned from a weekend stay at this beautiful cottage and it was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful and picturesque, right on the water with all the amenities we needed. Ildiko was quick to respond if we had any questions and was accommodating where we had some requests regarding check out. An absolute gem of a place, amazing views and spectacular sunrises. Would definitely recommend staying here. We would love to be back in the warmer months to experience the additional facilities such as kayaking. Jacquelien’s little piece of paradise exceeded our expectations! The cottage and surrounding areas including the beach were pristine. The beds were extremely comfortable and linens, towels ect…. Were all provided and the kitchen had Everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back next year! Thank you Jacquelien for sharing your perfect cottage with us 😊

Huma provided a comfortable and beautiful property for my friends and i. Fire pit, speaker, pots and pans and kindly provided coffee for the stay. And good coffee at that. Beautiful location. We will be coming back next year.

Cathy's place was cozy, convenient, and beautiful! We (group of 4) had a lovely stay and enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was fantastic and had a lovely view of the water. I can't wait to come back! thanks Cathy.
