Enjoy a peaceful farm stay in our self-catering cottage with a private garden. It features two en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room with an indoor fireplace. Relax outside with a braai, firepit and nearby dam. Explore hiking, walking, mountain biking, or fishing, and feeding our friendly horses. Guests enjoy secure parking, free WiFi, 24-hour access, and a swimming pool. We are pet friendly. Braai packs, potjie packs, side dishes, and wood are available on order.

Mooiplaas Farm Accommodation

In between picturesque koppies you will find this thatch-roof house overlooking the Free State plains. Wide open spaces with hiking, mountain-biking, trail running and stargazing to your heart's content on this beautiful 3rd generation sheep farm. Ideal for people wanting to escape busy city life or post Corona small apartments. There is no grid-supplied electricity on the farm but gas stove, gas geyser, gas fridge and oil lamps are available to help you reconnect to the peace and quiet.

Mud Manna - a peaceful and creative earth retreat

Mud Manna is made of earth dug from nearby and crafted with love. Beautiful touches add to the rustic and artistic atmosphere, like handmade stained glass bird windows. Sue's paintings abound. The house is open plan with curtained privacy. Space and views from the stoep will keep you peaceful and calm. Bokmakieries, chanting goshawk, donkeys in a field across the road, wandering horses and cows, a stoep swing... Self-catering and self service. It is next door to Sue's home.

Selah guest cottage is situated in a tranquil enviroment within walking distance from the town, museum and Bethulie dam.Selah is a place where you can stop, take in a deep breath of fresh air and relax....wake up to birds singing and chickens clucking. Selah is definely a place to put your feet up and relax. One can visit the founder of the town (Pellisiers) house and the boer womens concentration camp.Or just go for a walk to Bethulie Dam

Farmers Cottage Bethulie

The beautiful decorated luxury farm style cottage is an open plan self catering unit complete with fire place, a fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed, bathroom with shower. A large stoep with breathtaking views, private garden and access to the pool at the main guesthouse, Karoo Pandok. It is also pet friendly, fully fenced but we do charge a fee of R75.00 extra per pet which is payable on arrival. Please discuss with your host.

The Aloes guest house

The Aloes Guest House offers spacious comfortable accommodation in a fully furnished self-catering unit. The unit comprises of 1 bedroom and can accommodate 4 guests at a time. The Aloes is set on a koppie, overlooking the historical town of Bethulie offering a beautiful view of the Hennie Steyn bridge and the Lake Gariep . For peace and mind the property has good security with electric fencing and ample under roof parking.

Your artist hostess designed and furnished the cottage so expect quality yet quirky, uncluttered decor. The cottage is very spacious, comfortable and light and overlooks a large organic garden. With its own access and safe off-street parking your privacy is guaranteed. Recently added free Wi-Fi, and a solar system with back up gas geyser which means I don't depend on the national grid for power.

The chalet is located on our farm, Kleinzuurfontein, which is a fifteen minute drive (13.2km) from Springfontein (N1). With your stay you will experience nature at its best- with beautiful sunsets, starry skies and farm animals grazing on the fields surrounding the farm. This is the perfect stop over for travelling families. Please note: No pets allowed :)
