A very beautifully presented house. Warm fire, all new appliances, lovely beds and linen, hot shower. Lots of space in the house and surrounding to find your own bit of peace and quiet. Can sit on either veranda to enjoy the sun.

Lovely, peaceful place to stay. Perfect place for two within walking distance of town. Elizabeth & her husband were very friendly & helpful. The fresh bread, olives & condiments were awesome. Would recommend for anyone looking to visit York 😊

Right from our booking, Suzie was flexible to our needs and accommodating. The tram is wonderfully appointed and was a relaxing and comfortable Hills getaway. Will definitely recommend! This unique rural experience was very enjoyable.

A unique place to stay, quiet, and without distractions. A short stay with kids (8 and 4) who enjoyed the bunks, stay gazing (also storm watching) Enjoyed the fire pit and roasting marshmallows) New addition is gas BBQ, not coal so cooking is much easier. Enjoy the quiet, in a comfortable unique stay, with all the key requirements. Town of York is only a short drive, but not everything is open long hours or everyday so plan ahead, but plenty to see and do locally.

Thank you Fiona , it was a perfect getaway for us and our pup , we felt at home straight away Loved all the little personal touches provided nothing was overlooked . Everything was clean and comfy, and we really enjoyed our bush walks. Highly recommend Giddy up we will be back

The whole family loved visiting this little gem, which was so stylish and practical at the same time. Bike rides near the Avon river and hot air ballooning nearby at Northam were highlights of our stay. Thoroughly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Burnley house and Pendle cottage. Gayle was a polite and friendly host and the houses were exactly as described. My kids loved the alpacas in the backyard too. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in York.

We had a wonderful time staying at Fred and Sally’s place for the weekend. It is comfortable and beautiful, with a “home away from home” feel. Lovely surroundings and excellent walkability into town, too. We would recommend this place to those wanting to visit York.

A fabulous few days in a rural pretty space. Jo and Mike are great hosts - super welcoming and they put a generous delish brekkie. Mike took me on a walking tour which was informative and well-paced. Jo and I took a walk with her friends and their dog. Home from home 😍

Triple Room - in the Main Street

Everything was as we hoped or better. The outside temperature was a little warm, but Kerry can't fix that ;-) Shower was very good. It was a pleasant surprise to know the retired couple next door and Kerry was very good to them, too. My old man would have liked stronger lightglobes, but you can't please everyone with those!
