This place is ideal, location is amazing! Close to STL, Wine trail in Ste Gen, ect….. The hosts are amazing, you just ask for better people! Always love my stay and look forward to visiting again.

This property exceeds 5 stars without a doubt - our only complaint is that we didn’t plan to stay longer!!! We were stopping through on a 5,000 mile road trip & it was like a spot of sheer relaxation & amazingness with something for everyone. The meticulousness of the property was amazing - from the helpful labels to the abundance of towels (for outside & inside) - this property exceeds allll expectations.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was exactly as described and in a quiet neighborhood. The house was also very clean, from the bedrooms and living room to the kitchen, which had all of the utensils, pot and pans you'd need for cooking. We also unexpectedly needed to stay an extra night and Lori quickly responded and made it happen seamlessly for us.

This home is an absolute GEM! From the time we booked our trip to the time we checked out, Wes and Janet were so thoughtful, kind, responsive, and helpful. From the decor to the amenities, and everything in between (e.g. ice stocked in the freezer, tons of appliances, amazing shower products, notes all around the house with details, toys for children upstairs), they have truly thought of it all. Their house was an absolute pleasure to stay at. It was child-friendly and we all (two families staying together) felt right at home. It truly had everything we could possibly have needed. Wes and Janet are incredible hosts, and this is an amazing place to stay! Highly, highly recommend!

The Owls Nest was a perfect place to stay with our family and our 2 dogs. The fenced in back yard had plenty of room, a fire pit and nice sized deck. The bedrooms were all cozy and had comfortable beds. The living room has plenty of room to play games or watch a movie and the kitchen has everything you need . We love to hike and Mt Bike and this location was close to many hiking trails and about a 5 min drive to Touch of Nature trails for riding. We would definitely book another stay at the Owls Nest!

Had a quiet weekend and really enjoyed the place. Clean and cozy, easy check in, good communication. Loved the peace and quiet (a few cars on the nearby road didn’t really mar the experience). Did a lot of porch and hot tub sitting, watching the cows, birds and clouds.

The house is a wonderful combination of historic charm and modern convenience. It is beautiful while being comfortable and welcoming. We found the furniture comfortable and the provided supplies and amenities ready to meet all our needs. The grounds are gorgeous and although the house is conveniently located off a main road - you feel as though you have escaped to a beautiful haven. Jerri was a great host that helped answer all our question before and during our visit- Thank you Jerri! We had a few small issues when we were at the place, but these were all resolved quickly and did not impact our overall positive experience. When we arrived, the lock was not working and ultimately it needed batteries changed. This required a 20-30 min wait to get. We also had a few maintenance issues, but again Jerri was extremely responsive to these and got everything working quickly. We would not hesitate to stay here again or at any property managed by Jerri!
