What a great spot. huge, fully fenced back yard. the rooms are big and there is plenty of room for teenagers and dogs. beautiful place, very comfortable. I'm from Mt. Shasta and stayed here while visiting family. I will definitely be staying again.

Loved our stay at Lassen Red Barn. Wendy & Alan are great hosts. They were reponsive to my questions. The check-out procedure was simple and easy. Bed was very comfortable for restful restorative sleep. Excellent wifi signal via Starlink for those that couldn’t unplug 100%. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Our family had a wonderful time at Heidi and Steph's place to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Heidi and Steph really made us feel like at home. They're the most wonderful hosts we've ever met. The view from the front porch, facing the river, is beautiful. Great place for fishing and enjoying the beauty of nature. We caught 6 trouts in two days. Yay! Thank you for showing us the spots and for everything else that made our trip an amazing one.

Great place to stay when visiting Lassen NP for a nature escape and hiking. The hot tube came in handy for some recovery. The vinyl record player and arcade were just amazing additions. Would love to come back when visiting northern Cal.

Peace and quiet surrounded by the woods and beautiful vistas. Only a 5 minute drive from Dunsmuir, avoiding the disruptive sounds of the trains that run through town.

We had a wonderful stay! There were only four of us and there was room for more. The kitchen was well stocked and Kavian is an excellent communicator. Very responsive, friendly and accommodating.

I have always wanted to stay in an A-frame cabin, and Anna’s place has met all my expectations. Super responsive host, you can enjoy your privacy while all the help is a text message away.

The cabin was as advertised, private, clean and well maintained. Meghan was there when I arrived and was super friendly and very helpful. The area is very quiet and peaceful and steps to the Trinity River. I would recommend the cabin to family and friends. Thanks, Meghan!

Or stay was great! The house was very clean and Lillian was very helpful with directions and getting the house situated for us! The location is amazing and on a clear night the stars are incredible. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Quick overnight trip to escape our families, Tim's place was just what we needed. We made dinner, enjoyed the back patio and enjoyed the river but most importantly talked and laughed surrounded by beauty. We will be back!

Nice cabin right on the water. Hot water and electricity, plenty of blankets, and cookware in the kitchen. Host is helpful and responsive.

This is the third time we have spent time in Lisa's cozy cabin, as Dunsmuir is an ideal stop for us en route to our son in Portland. We love it! Although we never play any of the games she has provided, we love the comfortable bed, the shower amenities, and (at Christmastime) the Christmas tree! Lisa was particularly accommodating this time, as I had forgotten to mention our pet when we signed up. PS Pizza Factory in town = great pizza!

We had a wonderful stay at Michael's place. The perfect cosy place for our family Thanksgiving. Michael welcomed us in person, showed us around the place and was available for anything we needed. Great place, great host!

Upon booking this spot I was upgraded to Kevin’s bigger house across the street. It was super comfortable and had lots of cool rocks everywhere. Kevin was not there but his dad gave me a rundown on everything as soon as I arrived. Overall I had a great time and really liked the unexpected but welcome upgrade.

The house is beautiful - clean and welcoming - we felt right at home! The kitchen is well equipped - and part of the great room that looks out onto the river - The beds are big and comfortable - very luxurious - If you are not familiar with the area- Wi-Fi is spotty - but that is par for the course when you are out this far - There is Ping pong and games to keep everyone entertained- We will definitely book again!

Carols place is nicely located near the town for food and near the Hwy, It was comfortable enough for two of us and was clean. Would stay again,.

We throughly enjoyed Trevor’s place. It was so peaceful, exactly what we needed. From the 3 curious deer every morning to the beautiful scenery we got to enjoy every day. His house was idyllic and very tidy. We will definitely stay here again in the near future. Thank you Trevor.

Awesome Spot and awesome hosts

It was a good stay for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids). I like the peacefulness of the place, outside shower and this veranda kind of thing. I think for a price it's a good place. I personally really liked there. Some things to be aware of for summer stay: garage is not available (well at least it wasn't for our stay) and there is no constant shadow for a car while it's super hot outside (well at least for us who got used to living by the ocean). The lake is very close on the other hand.

Amazing place! Serene and beautiful, it's a cabin straight from a fairy tale. If you want to just disconnect from the world but still have all the comforts - this is the place to be. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back again.
