Beautiful country barn/peaceful location

Our double height wood and stone barn directly opposite our house is found at the end of a long private drive in lovely Dorset countryside. A very comfortable 5ft bed, woodburning stove and pretty views, a perfect relaxing and cosy retreat. Easy access to lots of interesting places. Guests can play tennis and croquet. The Barn sleeps two adults. Ample parking directly next to Barn. Please note the Barn unsuitable for children and infants. NB There are no shops or pubs within walking distance.

Little Coombe

Little Coombe welcomes all couples, lone travellers and fellow pooches. Little Coombe is a totally self-contained cottage attached to the main cottage, where the owner lives. It is a tranquil stone cottage sitting by the brook in a small hamlet near Shaftesbury. The cottage was formerly two thatched farm cottages and where our family has lived for nearly 100 years! We live next door in the main cottage, but guests will have their own entrance and garden space and their privacy is guaranteed.

Located on a no-through road with only local residents traffic, giving a peaceful setting with views of the surrounding hills. Shaftesbury just over a mile with its historic Gold Hill and a good choice of shops and places to eat. It is a good base for exploring the area, offering historic houses, interesting gardens, walks, the Jurassic Coast, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Bath and much more.

Underfloor heating makes it gloriously warm and inviting, the linen sheets are of the finest quality, and it is in a beautiful valley which has an unusual amount of song birds and owls. It has been designed with peace and comfort in mind.

Comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests with off street parking. The cottage comprises of fully fitted kitchen, dining room and sitting room both with wood burning stoves, ground floor family bathroom, upstairs cloakroom and four bedrooms over two floors. There is a pretty garden to the front of the property with two seating areas.

Unique location on the historic Gold Hill, Dorset

An 1860s cottage on the historic and famous Gold Hill in the beautiful town of Shaftesbury, Dorset. There's 3 bedrooms - two smaller attic double bedrooms and the main bedroom which is spacious with a king bed. Whilst we often have 5 guests I'd say it's more suitable to 4 adults - 5 is better suited to famiies with children. Less than an hour from the Jurassic Coast and 25mins to Stonehenge we're in a great spot or just enjoy the countryside on your doorstep.
