You’ll stay off the 18th hole at Scotfield Country Club. Catch the best sunsets from the mailbox, relax on our large back deck and soak in the peaceful sounds of country life away from it all. We’re the only mobile home in this small getaway community.

Welcome, friends! Nestled in the lovely scenery & solitude of beautiful Sunset Park, this newly-remodeled two-story barn is the perfect getaway spot! Close to everything yet tucked into a quiet wooded area behind my house, you’ll look out the window to find the wide open green space of the park. Take a stroll to such spots as City Lake, the disc golf course, dog park, Chico’s Mexican Restaurant, and much more. You’ll be only a mile away from Historic Downtown and the Rocky Mount Mills campus!

Farm Stay: on a Hundred Acre Farm

Welcome to October Farm! Located on the Historic Albemarle Trail (the oldest heritage trail in the southeast) we are a one-hundred acre farm with views of forest and farmland. We are 15 minutes from: historic Tarboro (fine dining, local brewery, oyster bar, boutique shopping, grocery stores and Starbucks), Sylvan Heights Bird Park, Indian Lakes Sports Complex and 20 minutes from the Rocky Mount Sports Complex. Attending a wedding, visiting family or travel ball, we are glad to be your host.

Cabin on Horse & Cattle Ranch Near I-95

Please follow directions for location of cabin and parking. Small cabin with full size bed great for 1 or 2 guests. Located on 90+ acres of horse and cattle ranch. Riding lessons are available for additional fees. Multiple animals run loose on the property like dogs, chickens, cats... Feel free to walk around the common areas. We look forward to having you stay with us! Larger Bunkhouse available for parties of 4-6. Horse layover available for additional fee. Pets $30/night.

Rocky Mount Home with a View

Please be aware that we do have 2 dogs. They are very friendly and will sniff and whine when she meets you (see pictures). Very cozy and private space with a private entrance above the garage. Fully equipped gym in the garage. All appliances were purchased new as of 2021. Vinyl plank flooring installed 2021 as well. Recently repainted. Best part about this space is you get the country experience with 200 Mbps download speeds. If you need the air mattress let us know.

Cozy Coop Barn Apartment on Hobby Farm

Cozy and modern apartment inside a working hobby farm barn. Upstairs holds one bedroom with a queen bed. Loft area upstairs has a convertible futon with a TV/blue ray/dvd. Downstairs is a nearly full eat in kitchen (only missing a stove) and the spacious bathroom with stand up shower. A grill is also available on the large covered porch. Guests have access to large covered porch, playground and yard area. Farm chores done 2 times daily. Pets allowed with fee.

The Enfield Sanctuary

Newly constructed by an NC-Preservation-approved contractor, this spacious suite has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It is tastefully decorated to reflect the history of this quiet rural town, which was founded in 1740. We are located 10 minutes off I-95 and one hour from Raleigh. Learn about our rich history, taste great peanuts, enjoy beautiful Medoc Mountain State Park, or just chill in this spacious entry-lock keypad suite till your next adventure.

The Archibald White House - historic 2 bedroom apt

As part of the oldest house in Tarboro (built 1785), this two bedroom apartment is located in the heart of the historic district (including the newly enacted social district!) in downtown Tarboro. Come enjoy all Tarboro has to offer while sitting on the front porch or the screened in back porch. The unit has one king bed and one full bed, easily fitting 4 people. There is a full kitchen and one bathroom with a modern walk-in shower.

The Croft

Tucked beneath the the main house, The Croft is an inviting flat in an English basement, with exposed brick and full windows. It gets great light and stays cool in summer and warm in winter-Ideal for those who like character and grounded charm. The Croft has 2 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is located in Tarboro's historic district, a block away from the beautiful Town Common and downtown Tarboro.

Extra measures are taken to sanitize the apartment after each guest. Guests, please consult the Host for permission to have visitors in the apartment. The neighborhood is safe for taking a walk. Park in your personal space beside the 3 steps to your private apartment (attached to the Host home). Located 1/2 mile from I-64 (and 7 hotels). Two miles from I-95.
