It has timber floors, a timber deck & outdoor seating & windows with fly screens. There is easy access down a shared driveway to come and go as you please. Marrickville was recently voted in the top 10 coolest neighbourhood in the world by Time Out. And this would be the coolest pad in that neighbourhood. It's a big space on the first floor of an old warehouse. Downstairs is a working art studio - The Bakehouse Studio. The stairs between these spaces are open. The guests who love our place the most are the ones who like the idea of staying in an old and slightly tatty flat on top of a studio and interacting with our community.

"Foveaux" is one of three small self contained suites. The space similar to a mini hotel room with an apartment style common entrance; a quirky Newtown experience.The suite has a dark moody pallet which is finished in a mix of modern pop art, pink neon and antique ware. There is a small internal shower-room en suite . There is a well lit Hollywood vanity, which doubles as a kitchenette containing bar fridge, basic food prep, reheat cooking and dining equipment.

The Back Corner

The Back Corner is well situated 9km from Sydney Airport and 15km from the CBD. Malabar Beach and cafes are a short walk. Buses are nearby. The cabin is an open area with a single bed, kitchen and separate bathroom with a shower, toilet and laundry tub. Also a little verandah and garden to enjoy. Walk down the side path, through the garden and you'll find a private little space of your own.

Garden Studio in Ashfield

Hello from the hosts of the Garden Studio! If the dates you need accommodation for show as unavailable, send us an inquiry anyway as we may be able to host you. The studio has a double bed, a kitchenette (fridge, microwave and kettle) and a full bathroom. It is about a 10 - 15 minute walk from Ashfield Station, and a 12 minute train ride into the city.
