Sightseeing

Mudeford Quay is a great spot, scenic with crab fishing off the quay. Great for walks, fish and chips, launching a boat, paddle board or just dipping your toes in. Car park can get really busy in the summer!

Poole Harbour is the 2nd largest natural harbour in the world, loaded with beautiful sights and pirate folklore it is a must see when you are in Dorset. We recommend taking the ferry from Poole Quay to Brownsea Island which is a nature reserve and birthplace of the Scouts. The Ferry Captain will regale you with tales of Harry Paye a famous Poole Pirate.
