Lovely dog friendly beach, with access into the Sizewell belts nature reserve and Kenton Hills. The beach is stony but right near the water's edge is a strip of sand so it is a good family beach. There is also a great cafe which is family and budget friendly. Plus there are the all important toilets.

Hat trick hot chocolate on the pier is a real treat. Dog friendly town. Gets very busy so head there early in the day to be ahead of the crowd.

Great cafe run by a brilliant husband and wife team. Simple menu really well done. Lots of outside picnic benches so dog friendly. We love their scampi and chips or ham, egg and chips when they are fully open.
(Note: Public toilets nearby are usually pretty clean.)
