Kanakakunnu Palace is in the heart of the city. There are always some programme or the other going on here. Entry is mostly free. Plenty of space in the city limits. Good place for a walk.This is just adjacent to the zoo and Napier Museum along with the Shri Chitra Art Gallery. A place worth visiting. More over there will always be some fair/exhibition going on in the premises of this Palace. One will be forced to visit it once it is viewed from the road.

Good peaceful place to relax. Very affordable ticket charge of Rs 10 per person. There is option for boating. You can view the sea and Lake together and there are a lot of cheap eateries and ice cream wallas.
