This is a really lovely pub that can be accessed by walking over the Pennine Way from the house. It's about a 30 minute walk from door to door and is well worth it because of the beautiful scenery along the way. You'll pass Lower Gorple Reservoir on route and cross over pretty stunning valley steps. It's well worth making the trip over.

Parks & Nature

Hadrcastle Crags in home to the beautiful off-grid Gibson Mill. It's a magical woodland that stretched alongside Hebden Waters. The point on the maps shows the main car park entrance, but it can be accessed by walking through the land and over the moors behind the house. It's definitely worth visiting, the mill also offers tea/coffee, cakes and other food throughout the summer season. You can also make your way to The Craggs, a series of stunning standing stone formations along the valley.

Gaddings Dam is seen in the area as a moorland beach! It's an amazing site for wild swimming spot, with a lovely walk up to the top. It's great on a lovely day, and Todmorden is another great market town worth exploring!

I've tagged this as a Brewery because this pub owns a brewery a few miles away. So if you like to drink the local ales, then this place is ideal! It's walking distance from the house, down into the valley which is a beautiful walk, you can head over the fields and walk along the river which takes you right to the pub.

Sightseeing

Stoodley Pike towers over the Calderdale Valley and is definitely worth taking a trek up to see the monument and to take in the stunning panoramic views from up there. It's a 6 mile round trip from the centre of Hebden Bridge, but be prepared for the climb, it does get a little steep in places.
