The Tardebigge flight can be found on the canal a short walk from Aston Fields through the local countryside. This series of 30 locks offers up to a two hour walk from the starting point of Tardebigge church with the Queens Head pub (see where to eat) just past lock 30.

Travel by train

We live a six minute walk from Bromsgrove train station which is the final destination on the Lichfield to Bromsgrove cross-city line. The trains usually run four times an hour into central Birmingham (New Street), a 30 minute journey. Trains also run hourly into Worcester, the journey taking 30 minutes with Worcester Foregate Street in the City centre.www.national rail.co.uk
