Verwacht geen luxe, fine dining of een moderne inrichting bij Purunchi. Je gaat er enigszins terug in de tijd en back to basic. Purunchi heeft een eigen dok, waar de vissers aanmeren met emmers vers gevangen vis. Op het dok wordt de vis vervolgens schoon- en klaargemaakt voor de bereiding in de keuken. De vangst is elke dag anders en dus is het menu dat ook en dat geeft enorm veel charme aan de plek. Kom vooral in je korte broek en slippers, het hoeft niet al te fancy, strijk neer aan het water en laat je verrassen door wat er op de menukaart staat.

This small cove is popular for snorkeling and diving, and has a roped-off area with a floating platform. It is located down steep stone steps from the parking area. Halfway between the parking area and the beach is a shaded terrace with a snack bar and dive shop.
From Playa Kalki another set of steps leads to the Kura Hulanda Lodge on the bluffs above, which has a restaurant. Entrance to the water is somewhat rocky.
