Food scene
Saltus enjoys a perfect location in downtown Beaufort along the waterfront. You can eat casually at the bar, dine outside weather permitting, or fine dining in the main dining room. They offer everything from sushi to prime steaks.
After dinner, grab an ice cream along Bay St , then head back to the waterfront and relax on one of the bench swings. If you have little ones, there’s a terrific playground in this waterfront park.

The only beach on the Atlantic Ocean that you don’t need a boat or a membership to enjoy. I provide the pass( hangs in kitchen by the microwave)
The pass gives you entrance as well as admission to the Lighthouse - limited numbers for the lighthouse. The park pass is for the carload.

It’s a very wide sandy beach and there’s lots of options once you’re in the park- my hint- keep going to the left , past the lighthouse, cross the little road and keep going- takes you to a less populated area of the beach. There are showers there- please rinse
