Hiking
Paved path with limited elevation gain. Weaves through neighborhoods with access to parks, playgrounds, and disc golf. We love walking 1 mile down to the Ralston Creek Trail, taking it East for 3 miles, then hopping on Clear Creek Trail to come back Southwest for 3 miles, and finally 1 mile of sidewalks back to the BnB.

Paved path with limited elevation gain. Weaves through neighborhoods with access to parks, playgrounds, and disc golf. We love walking 1 mile down to the Ralston Creek Trail, taking it East for 3 miles, then hopping on Clear Creek Trail to come back Southwest for 3 miles, and finally 1 mile of sidewalks back to the BnB.
Mostly paved path with limited elevation gain. Beautiful views of the front range as the park passes through Stenger Sports Complex and Van Bibber Open space. This is a great sunset hike with chances to see horses and occasional wildlife.

Great spot for Wildlife! - The winding dirt road trail of Waterton Canyon takes you along the South Platte River and into a canyon where you might spy some Bighorn sheep or catch the sight of massive eagles soaring overhead. It’s an out-and-back hike, and you have a lot of options, from a short hike in to have a picnic, all to way to 12.4-mile round-trip adventure to the Strontia Springs Dam.
