The kings Head is a great local pub and does brilliant Italian food. The pizzas and pasta are amazing and real attention has gone into their menu.
There are no chips on the menu though so maybe one to avoid if your kids are as fussy as ours!

It's a really friendly atmosphere and the food potions are enormous. You never leave feeling hungry.
It has a nice park for the kids and plenty of outdoor seating.
It is about a 15min walk away or a 4 minute drive through the country lanes so is a great place to stop for a drink if you fancy a walk to explore the local countryside
