Culture

In keeping with all UK public art galleries our gallery is free to enter. It’s worth every penny and much more. Spot the Rembrandts, Monets, Picassos and Surats et al. There is a fine array of dinosaur statues about and amazing collections of plate, and fine China. Nice cafe serves passable coffee and good high teas.

Home of the Welsh National Opera and the venue for major touring theatre groups. Always something stunning taking place. To quote the giant words on the front elevation “in these stones horizons sing”

Moving around Cardiff

Buses are the best way to get around Cardiff. The No 57 & No 58 leave from our front door and go straight to the city center stopping by Queen St Station, John Lewis and Cardiff Castle. If you are driving, Cardiff is well supplied with Parking Stations. The Capitol Shopping centre at the top of the Queen St mall gives you access to the longest walk street with all the big department stores. Look for signs directing you a car park. Try not to lose your patience with Cardiffs crazy road layout.
