Check the tide schedule if you plan on walking on the beach. If not just park along the highway (signage is small) and cross the road into the Hobbit realm. It's a magical place where little gnomes may be hiding in the undergrowth. :-) It's a gentle hike allowing those with canes access.

Easy to find nearby Lakeside, Hall lake picnic, swimming and sand dune area. They say that the kids in the hot summer take cardboard and climb to the top of the sand dune and slide into the lake! What fun to even watch!
