Vancouver, WA is in very close proximity to some of the most beautiful waterfalls and trails you can day hike. Explore The Gorge (about 30 mins East) for spectacular waterfalls and tails. Some of my favorites: Eagle Creek Trail, Wahkeena Trails (loop around Multnomah Falls), Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Ramona Falls Trail (don't follow Apple Maps, it suggests a 30 minute detour up Lolo Pass Road, take the first right onto Muddy Fork Road) and Cougar Falls.
