The old train station in downtown Lynchburg is a real treat! You better be hungry if you try to order the chicken strips- my husband and I share the dinner and still end up taking one home!.

This place is always busy, but really yummy food! The yeast rolls are unstoppable and personally, I just love those little 6 ounce steaks cooked up just right with all the fixings!!

Don't miss the Blue Ridge Mountains up close and personal!
A 30 minute ride through the town of Bedford and up into the Blue Ridge Mountains will give you a lovely place to hike. There's a lovely lake you can walk around, a lodge where you can enjoy a special meal or just some chairs out by the lake to relax in. If you really like to hike, you can actually hike up to the top of the peaks and get a stunning view of the valley below. Peaks of Otter!
