A Colonial-Era bar nestled in the Raffles Hotel. This is where the Singapore Sling was invented (fun fact: for Hemingway's wife). Do note that drinks are pricey – think $30 for a cocktail. It's worth checking out, if not imbibing.

Entertainment & Activities

Hit up the Singapore Zoo's Night Safari, where you can see animals in their element at night, when it's a bit cooler. Skip the show and take the time to walk through the park – the hyenas are fascinating, and if you can make it for the lion or tiger feeding, it's worth seeing (if that isn't too grisly for you).
