From either direction, there are lovely coastal walks with wonderful views. Some areas are very steep, so wear good footwear suitable for walking/hiking.

We recommend Mystic Algarve for taxi airport transfers from Faro airport. They have good cars and drivers, are reliable and with advance notice will even find a vehicle big enough to transport your surfboard. They can be booked at our reception desk or directly.
