If you are into canoeing you have to give yourself this treat. It is so beautiful, simpel and calming. And very very close to our residency.

You would have to call the club and make an arrangement, because they dont fly everyday. But if they do, you will be taken care of by some really kind people, that take your safety very serious.

Very beautiful beach right next to fields and a forest. It is a fun place to go fishing after crabs durng summer with kids (Just bring a bucket, a stick, a string, a clamp and some ham). During winter you can very easily find mussels - just remember to cook them properly.
Also from the beach you can go for a walk to Tirsbæk Estate, a place that holds a lot of history and A.C. Andersen oce stayes there during one of his travels.

If you love to see animals and like to vist places, where they are treated good, then I can really recomment this ZOO. The animals have a lot of space.
If your kids like to play with water then we recomment to pack an extra set of clothes. When you go to the gorillas, the ZOO has made an area where kids and childish souls can jump on some stones/rocks that are in water. It is a lot of fun, but be aware that the kids most likely will get wet if you allow them to jump.

If your kids like to play with water then we recomment to pack an extra set of clothes. When you go to the gorillas, the ZOO has made an area where kids and childish souls can jump on some stones/rocks that are in water. It is a lot of fun, but be aware that the kids most likely will get wet if you allow them to jump.
Well we all know Legoland. So there is not that much to say here. It is a lovely and fun thing to do with kids - and kids just love going there.
But to the adults: Just a little fact I would like to mention is that it is not that one goes to Legoland for the quietness. Just be aware that you would be exposed to a lot of sounds when you are there. There are these speakers everywhere that play lego music (all day long :) ) - and you might not care at all, which is wonderful, but if you are one of those people that are impacted by sound, then a kindly advice from me to you is that when you are driving home after a lovely day in legoland, then don't expect that much of yourself, your partner or your kids, because you have just been exposed to sounds all day long:)
This might just be nonsense to you, and if so, then just forget about what I wrote :)
