Mwnt is a haven for wildlife, one of the best places in Ceredigion to spot dolphins and always popular for days out on the beach. Go to Mwnt to enjoy this hidden cove’s golden sand and rolling waves. Located about 4.5 miles north of Cardigan town centre on the Mid Wales coast, you’ll drive down country lines to be presented with dramatic views over Cardigan Bay upon arrival. To reach the beach there is a series of steps leading down to the sheltered sandy bay. You can also reach the beach by walking the local stretches of Wales’ Coastal Path. Mwnt is an ancient holy site and it's picturesque and startlingly simple Church of the Holy Cross (Eglwys y Grog) dates from the 14th century when it served as a sailors' chapel.

Newcastle Emlyn is a delightful historic market town found nestled within the stunningly beautiful Teifi Valley.
The high street offers an array of independent shops, art and crafts and antique centres. When a well-earned rest is needed there are restaurants, cafes, pubs and a gin bar. one of my favourite places for lunch is the riverside cafe a small quaint cottage like Vegetarian Cafe. That offer a veggie, vegan and gluten free dishes. A walk around the castle grounds is peaceful
and great for a picnic beside the river.

A beautiful national trust house and gardens. I visit here on a regular basis for peaceful walks and afternoon tea. The nearby town of Llandilo has eclectic shops and great tea rooms. There is also a three storey antique center that has some good finds.
