Closed shoes for the rainforest
If you plan on walking on some Tiskita trails please bring fully closed shoes for walking. As it is a rainforest there are spiders, ants, scorpions, thorns and the ocasional snake.

Bring flashlight
If you are planning on walking around at night at the Tiskita property please bring a flashlight, ideally not just the cel phone light. The best are headlamps.

Check towels and shoes
Shake towels and check shoes for unwanted visitors (scorpions or spiders). They especially like damp dark places.
