Fort Collins has ~30 natural areas that have been preserved for public use. These areas range from prairie to wetland to foothills to mountains. One could stay busy for months seeing them all. Be sure to check hours and conditions before you go, dress for the weather and take water with you, and park only in designated spots...parking enforcement at FCGOV Natural Areas is quite thorough. :)
We recommend Coyote Ridge for a fairly easy walk ending with great views, Riverbend Ponds for river scenery, or Cathy Fromme Prairie for grassland views and bird watching.

Fort Collins has an integrated network of bike trails and the bikeway passes right by our place. Bike rentals are available at multiple shops in town. We recommend Gearage Outdoor Sports at 119 E Mountain Ave in Old Town.

Bowling alley, bar & grill, video games and laser tag all under one roof. Prices are a bit high, but it's a fun experience. Call ahead to be sure they don't have leagues playing when you want to bowl.
