Pizza, sandwiches, American dishes. The Swiss Porta Bella Mushroom Burger with Sweet Potato Tots is worth the try. Not a Swiss fan so I ordered with Cheddar and it was great.

If I had my choice, this is where I would be, chillin and enjoying the lake. Great place on the water. Enjoy the deck and even go there by boat. Food is good but not spectacular. You're going for the atmosphere on the outside deck. Feed the carp your extra french fries.

One of the better pizza places in town with a lot of selection. Cool place to hang out. But more expensive than Blaze Pizza.

Great thin crust pizza that you pay one pice for and have it made with whatever ingredients you want. I always double up on cheese and meats and it is still the same price.

Beth, his mother, (along with Chris's input!) developed Chris's Coffee & Custard as a way to help bridge the gap between the community and the people with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities who are integrating themselves in the workplace and everyday life - becoming more valued, accepted, and included in our local community.
This is a great coffee shop with plenty of room for meetings and just hanging out.

Mountain Biking the Roanoke Area
The Roanoke area is fast becoming the East Coast’s go to place for Mountain Bike Trails. Check out Carvins Cove which has miles of trails; Mill Mountain - Trails are a little too rocky for me, ends up not being very fun when all your doing is worrying about a sharp rock grabbing your tire and sending you end over end; Morningside Bike Park and many more trails including the Salem and Roanoke Greenways, which are along the Roanoke River, if you just want to go for a relaxing ride.

Kayaking, Fishing and Water Sports
Kayaking and fishing, all along the Roanoke River are great spots for both. The river holds stocked Trout, Small Mouth, Red Eye and perch. Smith Mountain Lake, Carvin’s Cove, Claytor Lake and the James river also all have great places for fishing, kayaking and all kinds of water sports.
