This hike takes you to top of Cascade Head for spectacular coastal views--moderate--some uphill--about 3 miles. Home of rare butterflies. Peregrine Falcons Nest nearby. Park at the boat ramp at the end of Three Rocks Road and follow the signs to the Nature Conservancy Trail. If you love bird-watching, this is a treat.

Park at the boat ramp at the end of Three Rocks Road and follow the signs to the Nature Conservancy Trail. If you love bird-watching, this is a treat.
Very level, easy--less than 2 mile walk to gorgeous falls, over a suspension bridge. See the Historic Covered Bridge before you follow the road to trailhead. If it is foggy on the coast, you will often find sunshine here, and can wade in the creek.

Drift Creek Falls Trail 1378 (Cabeça da trilha)
BLM Road 1770Very level, easy--less than 2 mile walk to gorgeous falls, over a suspension bridge. See the Historic Covered Bridge before you follow the road to trailhead. If it is foggy on the coast, you will often find sunshine here, and can wade in the creek.

Located in Pacific City, across from Chester's Grocery Market, kayaks and paddle boards are available to explore the gently flowing Nestucca River and estuary. Herons, beavers and otters make the river their home. Good to call ahead for hours and reservations, especially if group is large.
