The Lego House is an amazing experience for both children and adults! A great mixture of a museum describing the Lego history and one big playground. You can buy access online or at the entrance, but even without buying a ticket you can visit the big aula, a big Lego store, or walk across the building via the outside stair cases. It also contains a nice family restaurant where you “build” your own menu and have your food served by Lego robots. A must see!!

Our local Zoo is not like any other zoo you have visited. Half the experience is driving in your own car/the zoo bus and the other half is enjoyed by foot. A lot of common areas with playgrounds, etc. and the atmosphere is always cozy and informal. A nice place !

One of two restaurants downtown I will recommend. Nothing fancy, but a very varied menu card (primarily pizza, pasta and steaks) and polite and accommodating staff. Quite low prices compared to Legoland or Lalandia. Despite the name of the restaurant I recommend Refborg or Bones in Lalandia if you are looking for a good steak. Takeaway available.

Italian inspired menu and very polite staff. Takeaway is also available, and they offer delivery service as the only takeaway option in town. Our favourite for a quick meal :)

The best restaurant in Billund!
If you are looking for an a la carte experience Refborg is the place to go. We had our wedding at Regborg and we love the atmosphere and polite staff. The owner is present everyday, and he is eager to make sure that everyone has a good time. Menu is Nordic inspired, and the plates are big and quality high. No matte r your liking Refborg has something for you, and the wine menu is rich with a lot of variety. Besides a small boutique hotel and Eatery (as they call their restaurant) they also include a delicacy shop with a lot of Danish local delicacies and antiques. Located very close to the house!

Billund Bakery was voted the second best bakery in Denmark and you will find a huge variety in bread, pastries and cakes. They are very good at the Danish “rye bread” and I recommend the “Frisen Bread” which is their specialty. If you want to go full Monty, buy a hot liver paste to go with it! They also have a small cafe where you can enjoy the specialties with a good cup of coffee.

They also have a small cafe where you can enjoy the specialties with a good cup of coffee.

The place is located in the hotspot of Billund and is quite cool with open terrace both on ground floor and the rooftop, and they often have live music and game nights. In our opinion the food and drinks do not match the prices (quite expensive), but great atmosphere and always well visited.

Billund has evolved with LEGO! The entire city centre is undergoing a huge upgrade, with the Lego house and Lego campus as the centrepieces. It is recommended to take a walk across the Lego house and visit the terraces and playgrounds and visit the garden of the Teddy Bear Museum (which is actually the Lego owners birth home).
Very low crime rates, feel safe walking around anywhere at any hour.

Tropical water park, fitness, bowling alley, padel, huge indoor play ground, badminton, climbing walls, trampolines, skiing slope, shopping - you name it 😃 A big family friendly buffet restaurant, a cafe, an American inspired restaurant and a Mexican inspired restaurant. Access is for free but the activities comes with a fee.
