This is the place to be on a Friday night, live music and flamenco dancers will entertain you while you dine on traditional Spanish dishes. Try the Pulpo a la Gallega and the Paella. The food and the atmosphere will transport you to Spain for the evening.

If you want to eat REAL Mexican tacos with the locals this is the spot. Here you will find traditional tacos de cabeza. Be adventurous and order one of every thing. Each taco is roughly 50¢ so don't worry about breaking the bank. Be sure to try the Tripa and Lengua tacos "con todo".

Hands down the best seafood I have ever had. Beautiful ocean view and unbeatable raw bar. Be sure to make a reservation as it can get busy. The Caribbean rice, Marbella Octopus, Raw oysters and clams are my favorite.
Ps. The menu can be a tad confusing as everything is done by weight so go with an open mind and open wallet. You can basically order any kind of seafood prepared anyway you could possibly think of so just wing it and follow your heart.

Great spot for a delicous and very affordable steak dinner. My favorite dish is the "Mar y Tierra" a massive bacon wrapped filete topped with large shrimp and served with veggies and potatoes. The shrimp Alfredo is also very good.

One of my favorite cenotes, Cristalino has a little bit of everything, colorful fish that will kiss your toes (free pedicure), caves, mangroves and cliffs to jump off off. And for $20 USD per person it’s a cheap way to spend the day.

This is another one of our favorite cenotes. Just 20km from the condo this cenote park gives you access to 3 large and beautiful cenotes. One of them is a stunning cave with a hole in the roof that you can jump in from the others are large open air springs with ziplines and jumping platforms

Incredible experience, one of the 7 wonders of the world. you can drive yourself or take one of many guided tours. This is an all day trip but totally worth it. We recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen and a lot of water as it gets quite hot in land.

Playa Del Carmen is a small City just a 20 minute drive south of the condo. There you will find everything that you need to enjoy your vacation. Grocery stores, luxury shopping malls and the famous 5th Ave with hundreds of bars and restaurants.

There you will find the closest grocery stores Super Aki and Chedurai. Our favorite restaurant there is by far Pelícanos, it's right on the beach in the heart of the town you can't miss it.

Rent a car
By far your best option to get around is to rent a car. From grocery trips to excursions it really is the best way to go. Driving here is really simple just follow the only road! Haha
There is one highway that runs straight down the coast from Cancun to Tulum, it's impossible to get lost. I'm originally from Canada and when I came here the first time I thought driving here would be scary but it really isn't. Mexico has all the same traffic laws, signs and signals. The only difference is people drive fast and use the horn quite liberally. If that's not for you just stay out of the fast lane ;)

There is a local delivery company called LoQsea.com that will deliver you anything you could desire from anywhere in the Riviera Maya! No joke! Anything from restaurants, groceries, alcohol, pharmacy, you name it they will deliver it. Delivery fee varies depending from where you want your stuff but from Playa del Carmen it's $130 pesos plus 10% of the value of your order. Totally worth it for those lazy days.
