An hour drive along the coast road from Moonrise Cottage or go on the Sanders CH1 Coastal Hopper bus! Get off at Wells and change onto number 36 bus to the Victoria pub, Holkham Hall. A short walk past the Visitors Centre,with toilets and coffee/food, brings you down to the enormous, white sand beach stretching as far as the eye can see! Wild birds, deer, horse riders can be seen. The deer are in the woods just inland of the beach.

Seals, 🦅 🦢 birds, 🦌 deer, hares and rabbits 🐇 are the kinds of wildlife found around Cromer. Peregrine falcons nest in the spire of Cromer church and can be seen flying over the town. There’s a video facility to watch the Peregrines nesting and hatching baby birds! Go to the church.
