Another amazing restaurant that you can walk home from! It is Seattle magazine's pick for 'Seattle's Freshest Take on Sushi', so make sure you book in advance. A traditional sushi bar, I would go for the chef's choice menu.

This is one of our favorite places to hang out with friends. Delicious fresh oysters, amazing cocktails and cool decor. Whether you grab an early dinner or stumble in later in the evening for that last cocktail, it's worth checking out.

Another favorite for us - a cheap but delicious Japanese Izakaya (pub). There is a limited menu but it is all fresh and delicious. I particularly love the Agedashi-dofu, even if you think you don't like tofu, this is worth trying as it is so good. The sashimi is very fresh and you get served these big pieces. There is also a tucked away seating area that is good for kids so take the family. And Japanese beer...what more could you ask for?
