Kind of a fake healthy restaurant, they have everything from beef burritos, to acai bowls, to smoothies, to salads. Good breakfasts, and 3 miles away. Tons of places to eat in North Park!

Since I don't eat meat I can really only recommend the healthier places. Their are places that serve grass fed cows in Hillcrest, the next neighborhood over and super LGBT friendly, if you are looking for that community. Anyway, Sipz is Asian Fusion with lots of "fake meat" options. Decent food.

Their are places that serve grass fed cows in Hillcrest, the next neighborhood over and super LGBT friendly, if you are looking for that community. Anyway, Sipz is Asian Fusion with lots of "fake meat" options. Decent food.
One of the only places you can find organic gluten free vegan gourmet. Quite pricey and I have been disappointed in dishes before. The best thing I have found is their "I am Grateful" bowl to go. Its brown rice or quinoa, black beans, kale and a yummy sauce for $5. Otherwise dine in for $16 dinners. Talk to me before going there and Ill tell you whats great.

There is so much to do and see in Balboa Park it's a full day's adventure. Many great museums, the IMax Theater and Science Center, The Old Globe Theatre, The Organ Pavilion, the Botanical Gardens, the Japanese Garden, need I say more?

They finally got the message it's not OK to enslave whales for amusement. Sorry to disrupt your desire to go to this park, and for sure some of it is fun and worth it, but for the most part I'm anti Sea World.

Go, because this is the hugest Zoo you might ever go to. Like Sea World, Im not really one for animals in cages, but the SD Zoo does a good job of expanded enclosures and preserving wild life. In a Zoo.
