Just 45 minutes south, Mio is home to several great canoe outfitters. These outfitters will provide transportation to the river and will pick you up again at a designated meeting point. This is an absolutely beautiful stretch of the river! It provides just enough of a challenge for younger family members learning to canoe and enough outstanding natural beauty to please the rest. This is truly a GREAT family day out.
