Why The Last Resort is the place to stay!
Mountain Rest, SC is conveniently located in Oconee County, SC. Only about 10 minutes from the town of Walhalla, 25 Minutes from Seneca, and 35 minutes from Clemson, SC. If you go toward NC on Hwy 107 you will find yourself in lovely Cashiers, NC in about 20 minutes! Go Right in Cashiers to Sapphire Valley, go left to Highlands, NC both are just a short drive away!
Less than a mile from the cabin, you will find Oconee State Park, hiking, camping, swimming, mini golf, and more at one the best state parks in the country, built in the 1930's by the CC Corps, the park has loads of history, make a day of just hanging out! Ask for Trey in the office for tips on trails and more.

This place is actually pretty good, it is run by Hispanics (they have 3 locations) and so it a Hispanic take on Japanese. Skip the rice and ask for the vegetables. They will give you a bunch of food, so go hungry.

I should not have downgraded the lower end of SC-11, you will find Lake Hartwell State Park and hey that is not far to Commerce and Lavonia, GA.
Like Golf? Chickasaw Pointe and Table Rock are both public courses just off SC-11.
