This is a must do hike. A beautiful gorge is the reward for trekking along the Vermilion river for 1.5 miles. Towering pine, aspen and birch trees create a beautiful scene for this forest adventure. Grab a bite to eat at The Voyageur Lodge on Crane Lake while you are there also. Take highway 53 East until the road ends at Crane Lake for a wonderful afternoon!
