This subway station is equidistant from our house then the following station, but has a lot more stuff happening around it.
You can also get Tokens at the newsstand downstairs from station next to the elevator, at anytime which is important as you cannot get tokens at the ticket booths or change or anything really.

a bit of a crazy place, (it is in the middle of a pretty poor area) but if you are feeling adventurous, this is a Halal supermarket with mostly regular stuff, except catering to Arab, Latino, Asians and africans.
a lot of products sourced from Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, and a lot of Mexican, and other latin american produce.
