The restaurant is a good size don't expect to be able to turn-up for an evening meal or find a seat in the large patio area when the sun is shining, best to book ahead or arrive early to get a good seat. Some any to pick from as Burton Road is the hippest area outside the city centre and offers a wide range of bars, restaurants and cafes. However if I had to pick one, think it would be Folk. Folk is one of those bars that is really cool without trying too hard, even on a rainy Monday the place can get quite full. At the weekend this place is very much standing room only (inside & Out) from 8pm it's pretty much crammed with people from every walk of life. It also helps that award winning Volta Restaurant bar is next door and offers amazing tapas style eating plate and a delicious Sunday roast. Folk also serves lovely and super reasonable food.

The Metrolink tram system provides great access to all four corners of Manchester and is just a 5 minute walk to the nearest stop. This line also links directly to Manchester international airport, the city centre and both Piccidilly & Victoria train stations (1 change). Depending upon the line, trams run every 6 or 12 minutes. They are a great way to avoid congestion and parking expense that parking brings. The bus service is also very good but only runs hourly from the house. The 370 will take you to Stockport (via Northenden and Didsbury) or to Altrimcham where you can visit amazing Market (check website for more info and evening events).
