Not only did the flat white blown over from Australia. Urban Espresso Bar as well has Australian roots.
In 1992, Jo McCambridge departed from down under to the small and cold Netherlands, Rotterdam, to be exact, where they opened their first coffee place of the city in 2001, Urban Espresso Bar on the Botersloot.
After practicing for ten years in East, they opened in 2011 its doors on the West and where East recently closed its doors. Meanwhile the UEB on the Nieuwe Binnenweg - just like the flat white - is not to imagine without it in this port city and it is also become the place to go for a nice cup coffee grounds .
