There are walking/jogging/biking trails under the cottonwoods near the river. You can access them from several points. The Visitor Center will have the most complete information. There are points where you can walk right up to the river.

The foothills on the eastern edge of town have an extensive network of foot and bike trails. As well as trails heading up the mountains. Don't pay any particular attention to the location marked on the map.
