The farmers market at Hackescher Markt is definitely worth a visit. Buy fresh lavender, delicious desserts, local produce, Turkish baked goods and much more. You can probably find a second-hand book there too.

Info signs along the way explain more and a double row of cobble stones marks the original leap of the Wall. The entire Berlin Mauer walk is 17 km long, but you can choose to jump in any place you want;-)

It is a bit more expensive than the one at Mauerpark, but you can sometimes find some exceptional vintage pieces such as beautiful lamps, an old gramophone or big letters that were probably part of interesting shop signs in their former lives...
