Nice view of the harbor. Pretty eclectic menu and slick atmosphere. Staten Island is not a slick borough, but it's always nice to see someone try.

Unbelievable location. Great small museum with contemporary photography shows and a collection of surprising historical photos. Lovely place to sit or walk or picnic.

Serpentine Art and Nature Commons. It's a secret, which means you should not go alone. BUT it is worth the hike. Picnic looking over the city. Hike in abandoned nature.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Grotto - an amazing place. Talk about local culture! It is free, but please consider leaving a donation for its upkeep. They have a fun festival.

A longer bus ride, but still just one bus. Nice walking/jogging. A playground. Paddle boats at the other end of the park, and even an ice-skating rink on the Victory side.

Popular beach. Great playground. Fishing pier is pretty neat. If you like walking A LOT you can walk to Fort Wadsworth along the boardwalk. Summer = ice cream and fireworks!
