This museum has the most impressive collection of (often times 'working') miniatures you're likely to find anywhere. The toy museum portion of the museum will take you back to a time before video games (well, maybe Pong was around). Families will enjoy.

Not as far as the map, I had limited addresses to choose from. 39th St. is a hopping place for nightlife, with bars and kitschy restaurants. Just about a 15 minute walk (if that far) from the house, to the North. Try the Jazz bar and restaurant for authentic Cajun cuisine.

Did you know that KC is the city of fountains? Only Rome has more fountains than KC. This beautiful KC treasure is only a 20 minute walk from the house.
