Pack a bathing suit! Slide Rock includes a 1/2 mile of Oak Creek that is open for swimming, wading and sliding. The world-famous slide that our park is named for is an 80 foot-long slippery chute that is worn into sandstone. Situated alongside an apple orchard, Slide Rock is 80 feet long and 2.5 to 4 feet wide, with a seven percent decline from top to bottom. NOTE: Algae on the rocks creates the slippery ride, be careful!

Only steps from the parking lot/trail head you'll see one of the best eastern views of Sedona. We like to bring a chair and a bag of popcorn at sunset, it's amazing. The hiking trail loops around Table Top Mountain through basalt boulders & red rocks to panoramic views.

I would say moderate and likely okay for those whom are not regular hikers. Really beautiful scenery in all directions. Don't forget the sunscreen!

The trail goes up and down but is not too difficult. I would say moderate and likely okay for those whom are not regular hikers. Really beautiful scenery in all directions. Don't forget the sunscreen!
