Finks have great brunch options, with some fairly naughty options (think stacks of crispy bacon and maple syrup), but also lighter avocado on toast and egg muffins with a good strong coffee.

It's a little gem around the corner on Drayton Park that does pan european food. They have a selection of small plates and are particularly good for seafood: squid ink risotto, pear and blue cheese salad, fish in a beurre blanc sauce, crusty bread and good wine selection. It's a very popular spot, so call ahead and book!

This awesome pop-up restaurant was so well hidden it took us about 6 months to discover it was there! Staged in a failed Italian restaurant, Farang serves up modern fusion thai street food that is packed full of flavour. Order several plates and share amongst you. I'd recommend the minced prawn on betel leaf, crispy tempura chicken with scotch-bonnet and fish sauce glaze and tumeric butter roti. Yum!

Good local cafe/ brunch spot. It's simple, but they do the best cream cheese salmon bagel with capers, avocado toast and sandwiches. And it's very reasonably priced.

Because it will meet all of your cheese needs... Beyond buying cheese, they also have a number of baked savoury and sweet goods, like quiche, sausage rolls and cheesecakes.

MEATliquor is a must if you love American burgers, classic rock, eating booths all washed down within a theatrical butchers setting -- the co-founder once worked designing theatrical sets. Devilishly strong drinks.

Camden Town is famed for its market, a warren of fashion and curiosities by the Regent’s Canal. A haven of counter culture, the area is popular with tourists, teenagers and punks. The thriving nightlife scene includes live music in alternative clubs and old-school pubs, and major stars playing at the Jazz Cafe and the Roundhouse. Cafes bustle during the day. Nearby Regent’s Park has formal gardens and the London Zoo.

Hampstead Heath is one of London's most popular open spaces, situated just six kilometres from Trafalgar Square. An island of beautiful countryside, the magic of Hampstead Heath lies not only in its rich wildlife and extensive sports and recreational opportunities, but also in its proximity and accessibility to millions of people. There is a zoo, an athletics track, an education centre, extensive children's facilities, three swimming ponds and a Lido.

The Parkland Walk is a local secret that follows the course of the old railway that ran between Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace. The four and a half miles provides tranquillity and a chance for those living in London, to enjoy the green environment in the very heart of the city. It is London's longest Local Nature Reserve and supports a remarkable range of habitats and wildlife. Over two hundred species of wild flower have been recorded and it is probably the only place in Haringey where orchids rub shoulders with dandelions and ivy clambers up fig trees
