Neighbourhoods
Residential area, with lovely parks and a couple of nice pubs.
Victoria Park (the park itself) is large and hilly, there are two children's play areas and a basket ball court. There is a toilet in the building next to the play park at the top of the hill, and a van selling coffee and snacks.
Our two favourite pubs for drinks are The Star and Dove and the Victoria Park. If you don't have children with you, then another great local pub is the Oxford; they often have live music.
There are a few convenience stores (on St Johns Lane) and a lovely Bakery (called Park Bakery)- this can be found at the bottom of the hill that our house is on.
The Park Bakery team are soon to open a deli, which will also be located at the bottom of the hill.

Southville is an area that you can walk to from our house- it will probably take around 20 minutes to reach the near-side of the district and 45-1 hour to walk back from the other end (depending on your speed of course!)

There is a lot of street art in Southville, as this is where UpFest is held

Public park which is a natural amphitheatre. It has BEAUTIFUL views and gets great sunsets. Very very close to the house (under 5 minutes walk). Great place to watch balloons, if you're here in the summer.

It's delicious! We had a very nice special meal here and I felt that price was much more reasonable than some of the other "high end" dining options in the city
