Its a MUST SEE even if you aren't an art buff. the scale of the building, its design and location are all worth a look plus they have everything form some of the finest art in the world to parties with good food and music at their outdoor amphitheatre. IMPORTANT: Its closed on Tuesdays.

Hobart, a beautiful small waterfront city
The weather can be four seasons in a day so prepare for everything no matter what time of year you are travelling. You can get a still warm day in June or snow in Nov which is normal but not in this hemisphere! When I moved here people said if I didn't like the weather to just wait 5 minutes and they were pretty right.
